OVER 40 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
1979
Founding of AERA.
Right from its early days when it was founded in Bouxwiller, near Strasbourg, the company has worked with leading companies Hugo Beck (Germany) and RonTech (Switzerland) to produce a range of reliable, high-performance film packaging machines and feeders.
1991
Opening of the company’s firts building in Route d’Uttwiller in Bouxwiller
2001
The 1991 building is extended
to include a machine showroom and expanded
storage facilities
Development of the marketing of polyolefin shrink films
with a privileged supplier partnership.
2007
Hubert LOEFFLER hands the company
over to his sons Jérôme and Thomas LOEFFLER.
2008
AERA builds a BOPP film-cutting facility,
a highly innovative system offering
reels cut to customer specifications,
notably for the food, pharmaceutical and multimedia sectors.
Growth comes quickly on the back of our customers success and of a market opportunity for a serious, responsive enterprise.
2016
Aera moves into a new era with the opening
of a 4200 m² state-of-the-art production facility.
The company builds up its capacity with a larger stock and new high-performance film-cutting lines.
AERA also obtains BRCGS certification.
2021
2022
AERA obtains ISCC PLUS certification for processing and tracability in biosourced films and those containing recycled PCR.
CAP 2025 project
Expansion of storage and production facilities.
